It was the late 60s…

…so we won't suggest what might have kept this crew going.

Except a determination to publish the best student newspaper ever. This is the Seawanhaka crew assembled by 1969-1970 Editor Bob Danielenko (pictured front right).

And if you're wondering about the mostly cleancut look (not exactly a reflection of hippydom) … this would change for some (not all) of those pictured in the years ahead.

This October 1969 photo, published in Seawanhaka, is courtesy of Bob's co-editor Ezra Helfand (standing tall in the back)

Now for the who's who's, clockwise from front left: David Medina, Joan Kessler (business manager), Ed Weintrob, Elzra Helfand, Monica Surfaro, Jack Stokes, Allan Tepper and Bob Danielenko.

Hey I know that group. I look asleep while sitting (did that a lot in those days after all-nighters at the printer.)

We should "do the pose" again at the reunion, boy, that will be scary.

See you all October 11. I'm coming from Tucson for this!
